Next month the Riverton Area Book Club meets on the fourth Saturday, August 22, 10-11am. It will be held in the Community Room of the Riverton Village Hall (ne...xt to the Library) which is a large enough room for social distancing. Don't forget your mask!

The book to be reviewed is Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens, published in 2018. Kya, known as the Marsh Girl, lives in the desolate natural world of the North Carolina marshlands. Her story, part coming of age and part murder mystery, is told through two timelines of events which eventually intertwine. The Library has ordered books/audio through interlibrary loan.
