The Riverton Area Book Club will meet this Saturday, May 21, from 10 - 11 am at the Library.  The book to be discussed is Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.  Weir's book is especially appropriate these days when there are news reports of alien appearances on our planet.

Although Weir's novel has lots of science, the underlying story is inventive and sweet. The reader, like the main character, Ryland Grace, gets attached to Rocky, the spider-like alien from the Eridani system who like Grace is in a spaceship hoping to save his planet. Do we believe that Grace made the right decision at the end to help Rocky? Hope to see everyone at the discussion on Saturday!  Discussion will take place on May 21, from 10-11am, at the Riverton Library.
