The Riverton Area Book Club meets August 20 to discuss Forgiving Paris, by Karen Kingsbury. Meetings are held from 10-11 am on the third Saturday of each month (excluding December) at the Riverton Village Library.
More than 20 years ago, Ashley Blake had a reckless affair in Paris that left her with memories that have turned into secrets. An anniversary trip there with her husband leads her to revisit the decisions she made so long ago and gives her the chance to come to some sort of peace with herself. This novel is part of the Baxter Family series but also can be read as a stand-alone book. Kingsbury is a best-selling, inspirational storyteller with numerous award-winning books, many often becoming Hallmark films.
