Book Club

Last Saturday a small group discussed Born a Crime, Trevor Noah's reminiscences of his life in South Africa and the unique upbringing his mother provided him.

The June book selection takes us to India: we are reading Long Way Home: a memoir by Saroo Brierley. This book was published in 2015 and made into a movie called "Lion." Saroo was only about 5 years old when his story starts; he currently lives in Tasmania.

Next meeting is Saturday, June 17, at the Riverton Village Library at 10 am. Contact your library to get a copy of the book.

Just a reminder that we will be meeting this Saturday at 10 am to laugh and groan about Born a Crime, by Trevor Noah.   His mom sounds like a real character and talking about her will be a belated way of observing Mother's Day.Old Capitol Art Fair also this weekend!Pamm
