Book Club - May 15th

Saturday, May 15, is the next meeting for the book club. The selection is The Little Paris Bookshop, by Nina George, a German author. She is an advocate for writers and women's rights and has worked as a cop reporter, free lance journalist, and managing editor for a number of publications. The main character, Monsieur Jean Perdu, is known for his "Literary Apothecary." He sells books from a barge on the River Seine in Paris. But he is no ordinary bookseller; Perdu has insight into what his patrons need to improve their lives and he prescribes books accordingly.
